I always looove watching The Oscars Live from the red carpet on E prior to the actual award show just to see all of the lovely ladies and their beautiful dresses. I often think about how I would style the dress differently with hair/make up/jewelry and I don't hold back voicing my opinion to my husband who kindly accompanies me :o) These ladies were my absolute favorites from last night on the red carpet. Ha, anyone who knows my style could totally see why I fell in love which each of these dresses. I adore lace, sparkles, draping, anything ballerina-esque and rich colors along with pretty pastels.

Hi friends! Happy Sunday :o) This outfit was actually worn today and I just arrived home from a "Peter Rabbit" inspired baby shower..it was quite delightful. We celebrated sweet Melissa's little miracle, baby Lowen! This morning I seriously woke up and decided I was going to wear purple..it happened just like that..and it usually does, haha! This is one of my favorite skirts that I bought at Wet Seal on a spontaneous shopping spree with my friend Jenny. I had a moment where I realized I just couldn't leave the store without it!* I love that it is lace, floral print, ruffles and purple..all at the same time<3 My sister also brought me a little goody bag of hand me downs last night and that's where I found these pretty plum tights. I love mixing different shades of the same color, but I paired the different purples with a simple black so there wasn't soo much going on. What do you think?*

Hello beautiful lace dress!!..kinda Alice in Wonderland..kinda medieval meets Betsey Johnson<3 Ok, many xoxoxox's to my sister for letting me take this delightful dress home with me from my last visit with her. Honestly, I was quite skeptical about the length on me at first, BUT this dress still deserved a spot on my blog and I love it nonetheless. I feel like if it were any shorter, this lovely dress would look a little more costume(ish). I decided to rock the black tights and my new boots..once again! The dress is a deep aqua blue color with a dark navy lace overlay...and yes, I paired the navy with black :o) It adds an edge to it..that I like* I also highlighted my lips with a dark purple lipstick (MAC, Cyber). A look is not complete without lipstick<3<3

I cannot quite wait for Spring, Summer and this sunshiny goodness all the time!! This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous and the warm weather was such a beautiful breath of fresh air for me and my slightly vampire-ish skin!

Fact: I love dresses. It's true..and floral print, so what's better than a floral print dress??? I am a huge fan of the color black as well and I love to mix this dark bold color with the basic navy and occasional brown. I don't follow the rule: never mix black and brown or black and navy. I say.. "screw the rule!!", wear what you want ;o) Oh my my my..these Madden boots make me giddy! Ha, I really can't control the excitement when I put them on* My sister and I found them on sale at Macy's in Nashville and after careful observation of the warm feelings that took over when we placed the boots on our feet (kinda like Cinderella and her sparkly glass slipper..oh yeah!), we decided it would be very unfortunate if we passed up such a delightful and very well made boot<3 End of story..we are so so pleased with our purchase! I did not get a very good picture of my bracelet, but I want to describe it because this piece of jewelry is truly one of my favorites! I found it at Pangea in Hillsboro Village. It is a dark brown leather band with dull gold studs all around it..I wear it with just about everything and it gives a little edgy feel to anything I pair it with :o) score!

I came across her photo shoot above in Teen Vogue awhile back and fell in love with all of the beautiful bold colors, floral prints and ruffles. I also love how feminine everything is! I think Emma Watson is such a beautiful and lovely girl.

Omigosh. Another photo shoot that I am obsessed with!! I love everything about this spread in Marie Claire! Her newly cropped hair, the lovely pastels, sweet floral appliques and wow..those divine studded heels ;o)

I have been fascinated with the pixie haircut for over a year now, but just can't bring myself to chop off all of my hair! Although, I truly know that if/when I did decide to to get a sweet little pixie cut..I would loove it! Decisions, decisions. She makes me want to take a pair of scissors to my hair right now!

 This is another outfit that basically belongs to my bestie, Liv. I borrowed the dress and long sleeve shirt from her closet and created a look that I loved! I also featured this grey shirt on my blog awhile back with high waisted blue shorts and a floral scarf. Ha..we are like Mutt and Jeff, so any dress I borrow from her looks completely different on me--a lot shorter* I love the pockets in the front of the dress and the material is so light weight! I thrive off of creating different looks and mixing colors and patterns. With this outfit, I put together colors that made me feel especially girly and I matched my magenta Urban Outfitter socks with my magenta MAC lipstick (Up The Amp)..it is such a lovely color and my favorite! ;o) it's a win win situation.

I have seriously not worn a blue jean jacket since I was in highschool, which was almost 5 years ago! But, another visit to my mumzy's house turned in to me leaving with one of her precious hand me downs..this blue jean jacket. I was determined to style this jacket in a fun and playful way! I personally adore this look. I decided to mix bold colors and two different patterns :o) I mean, it's only natural for me! You like??

Hi loves!!! Sorry for the delay in posts, we had a little problem with our computer and did not have signal for a few days. This is a simple outfit as you can see, but I love it!! Girls, I encourage you to rummage through your man's closet and see what you can find ;o) I turned my husband's thrifted button up into a short dress..then paired it with some colorful tights and vintage inspired boots!! I decided to belt it so the shirt was more fitting. I think the finish look came together quite well* I have also found a few more pieces of clothing in his closet that I can't wait to play around with and create different looks!

 Oh, and I am a huge lover of make up and actually really enjoy painting my face. Lipsticks are my very fave!! I usually like to keep my make up simple and wear a bold lipstick..so my lips steal the spotlight! With this look, I chose a bright red that adds a lovely pop of color<3<3
