My Black Friday.

Outfit Details:

Skirt: Thrifted
Boots: Belk
Tights: Boots
Sweater: Rugged Wearhouse (Urban Outfitters)
Beanie: Forever 21
Bracelet: Pangea in Nashville

I know I'm a little late posting this, but did anyone else venture out in to the 'Black Friday' madness like I did at...um, say 3:00 in the morning? Oh my gooooodness, these boots were my sweet purchase of the day only costing me $19 at Belk. The only problem is..every woman in Chattanooga will be wearing the same 'on sale' boots, which means I have to work extra hard to make mine extra special :o) I love the height of the boot and the flashy silver detail on the top.

The vintage A&F plaid skirt I scored at a cute little shop in downtown Chattanooga for only $3 and this sweater is my absolute FAVE..I would wear it every day if I knew it wouldn't look worn out. I want to keep it looking new as long as I can!

Does anyone have an interesting Black Friday story??

Fall lalalala.

Can we take a moment to look at her perfect eyebrows^ Love.

I need, I must get a statement coat for this Fall/Winter. I am in love with how it completely changes the look of an outfit and also makes a 'statement' ;o) I would prefer a floral print one, seeing how I am obsessed with it already!! I really adore the longer length for my height, but I found these cropped jackets and wouldn't mind having one like them as well. So that is my next mission, to find the perfect statement jacket that is flattering and that I can pair with any color for this upcoming cool weather..that I am in love with already. xoxo

New Month. New Me.

Hi blogging beauties! So I am totally aware that I have been neglecting my blog and feel terrible about it, so this is a new month and a new me!! I am going to try so very hard to post something at least 4/5 times a week. But something magical did happen in my life..I went on a road trip across the country to LA with my sister and 2 of our friends. I have been working my little guts out to go on this trip, 110 days working in a row with 2 days off. That is why I haven't been nearly as dedicated to my blog, just very determined to see the world. Anyways, I was very thankful for work and the chance to travel to (I believe) 7 new states including a fun stop in Vegas and a magical experience at the Grand Canyon. I had every intention of taking pictures along the way of my outfits, but never got around to actually doing that!

I had a lot of time to meditate and be inspired by each state and the people around me on my 10 day trip. It is crazy how my style has evolved and continues to change over a year and I'm experiencing the change even monthly. I've said this before, but about 96% of my closet is floral print (and I haven't posted nearly the bulk of it) and along this journey to LA, I have been inspired and really drawn to dark rich colors, jewel tones, textures, patterns, leopard print, more layering and even lots of fringe. As a stylist I think it is only natural to be attracted to so many different looks and not have one set style. I am going to change things up a bit. I want to get rid of a lot of my floral and experiment with new ideas and a darker color palette. I'm very excited and can't wait to get creative. Of course I won't be able to get rid of all of it, but I will definitely incorporate some floral in with my new pieces.

Browsing through Urban Outfitters and these beauties caught my eye ;o)

I know I say that a lot, but I don't like any of my dresses to feel left out because they are all special to me :o) The lace is just so girly and you can style it so many ways<3

I hope you all have a sparkly weekend!!

Love Forever.

Blouse.Jeans.Belt.Ring: Forever 21

This outfit is actually from Sunday evening when my lovely babe and I enjoyed a date night in downtown Chattanooga where we had a delicious Italian meal at Tony's located in the Art District :o) As you can tell, almost everything I am wearing is from Forever 21(love the store to sparkles). This blouse was seriously $5. Yeah, I couldn't pass it up. I love the cute polka dots and the structure of the blouse. It is very forgiving and has a 'carelessness' about it that makes it fun. I also adore the open neckline in which I unbuttoned to reveal just enough. The red ring was another lovely bargain-$3. The rich red hue complements the royal blue, mustard yellow and creams.

Friday Beautiful.

I got bored with Friday Favorites and it was kind of limiting to say the least. I only have so many favorites, but I find a lot of things beautiful.

Baby Blues. I have always loved a good comfortable shirt. This one definitely wins a sparkly pink star in my book. I found it at Forever 21 carelessly misplaced on a rack full of white pants. It is so very soft and the color is absolutely dreamy. I love the pale blue and red combination, maybe this is my inner nautical-ness I never knew I had, so I paired a bright cherry red lip with this outfit, tousled my hair and this is what I came up with!! Very chill and comfy. And adding a cuff to your skinnys will change any look :o)

DIY Ombre.

Ombre. Haven't you heard?? It's all the hype around the world now! It seems like everywhere I look in magazines, a new celebrity has their hair dark at the roots and gradually fading to a lighter shade at the bottom. I would usually stray away from the current trend that everyone is doing (I like to rebel) but with this trend..I've been dying to do it forever it seems and finally got up the courage to buy some bleach and give it a whirl. The worst I planned on happening was: I fry my hair horribly and have to cut it off in to an unblushingly cute pixie like Emma Watson sports. Well, I am so happy with the end result. I apologize for the picture quality..I used my phone! I decided to use L'Oreal Paris Frost & Design for dark brown hair in Caramel. I did a test strand for 30 minutes and decided to just jump in to it afterwards! So I put on my gloves and seriously  just covered the ends in bleach for 30 minutes, washed it out and blow dried it. Then I added some more color to the tips of my hair for another 20 minutes to lighten them even more. I think I did a pretty darn good job ;o)

Below are some ladies with dark brown hair like mine with the "Ombre" look.

..and the queen of  "Ombre" since her Sex and the City days, Sarah Jessica Parker. (LOVE) but anyone who really knows me..eh, already knows that!! :o)

Really wish I had our good camera, but the ends are not orange..more like a golden- bronze. It works. And I am very pleased with how it turned out, now I can unravel the knots in my stomach. Don't over think the process, it is extremely easy!!
